Don't know where this one came from--it woke me up at three this morning. And so, I write. :-)
"I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO WRITE" (C) Copy written, October 4, 2004, by Karla Dorman. ************************************************************************* I would really like to write, But my hands won't co-operate. They are blind to words they hear. They think they're being used as bait! * I would really like to write, But my hands take that as a threat. They'll do what they want to do. They think I'm a lousy poet! * I would really like to write, But my hands betray once more. They pluck the words from the air, And throw them, screaming, to the floor! * I would really like to write, But my hands remain in the dark. They just cannot comprehend The art of words leaving their mark. * I would really like to write, But my hands go to sleep again. My Muse is broken, shattered. My hands will not pick up the pen.
Amputate them hands, get yourself some new ones...even though they write so well already, maybe they are just tired and need a vacation, wrap them in ice or let them soak in warm water with Avon bubble bath on them...then spank them if they dont write what you want...Peace, Ed & Rufuz
