I AM OKAY. This just came to me, and so, I write. :-)

Poem Artwork

Poetry is written by fools such as I.
Whether I've
the
talent
to string
words
together
into
something
beautiful
remains to be seen.

Poetry is written by fools such as I.
Whether I'm
ready
to
pull the
ripcord
and
let
myself
fall
remains to be seen.

Poetry is written by fools such as I.
Whether I'm
willing
to
swim with
the
sharks
who
may
eat me
remains to be seen.

Poetry is written by fools such as I.
Whether I've
the
courage
to face
my
fears
and
write
ANYWAY
remains to be seen.

Poetry is written by fools such as I.

I disagree Karla I am afraid. Poetry is not written by fools. Rather it is written by those with a message from the heart and the courage to put in write for all too see. Often to dramatic results. You keep writing young lady. You aint no fool to me !!

That's the way I often feel, asking myself if I'm ready to pull the ripcord or not. Great poem, Karla!

Karla, you have once again established your position on the entrance of the greats! Your unique ability to venture into the realm of the unknown, is a shining testament to your overall qualifications to be considered amongst one of the best! Outstanding work, my friend. Happy Veteran’s Day! Thank you for sharing it. Take care and be well.

Powerful expressions of thought that holds a truth in it that I find absolutely amazing. The true freedome of writing is to write what you believe dispite those who wish you to think like them. You my dear friend walk your own path. Congrats!

Excellent write. Time has already told that you are a poweful poet, so nothing remains to be seen, my dear Karla. Keep fighting and keep conquering your fears with the spears of poetry.

I think it is a thing of great courage to open your work up and to admit that you are vulnerable but you are brilliant and certainly no one's fool.
Your talent shines through everything you do - a true lady of the lights indeed you are!
