Are authors living a lie In saying their words take flight? ~ What determines a poem? Riddle me a poem, do. I loved this. I dunno why I write...maybe because not writing, for me, is like not breathing, even if its good or not. Or maybe I am the riddle, and I try to solve it with words. Anyway, this was very nice.
Fantastic flow of ideas adding to wonderment of poets
We are simply what we are called to be. When the need
stirs so strongly within, we write to express what we
feel because if we didn't, we would blow like a volcano.
The poet differs from other writers in that we see
things in more lyrical form we have the need to get
out point across but we want to do it with beauty
with the rhythm and rhyme of our souls
At least that's the way I see it;-)

Don't let the english teachers get to you. They have to have something to say to excuse the payment they get for their advice.
A poem to me is one that touch's another. Not every word we use will be accepted, but if we are happy with it, that is what counts :-)
The best english teacher I had, kicked me in the butt to use my imagination and heart, and then helped me with the grammar. He knew when I was not doing my best.
I love the flow and meter in this poem; this is beyond outstanding! This is sheer brilliance! BRAVA! May your muse forever flow; you are getting GOOD at your craft! Well done!!
