I find I'm not disabled -
There is no limitation
To what I can accomplish.

I sing with a Poet's voice -
Writing has released the song
That was in me all the time.

In my little corner of the world,
Paper and pen are my friends -
They are the ones I can trust
And that's where I feel at home.

In my little corner of the world,
I'm the Queen in her castle -
Meter and rhyme bow to me
Even if they're not summoned.

In my little corner of the world,
I bend the words like putty -
Whether real or imagined,
They are my reality.
