Exceptional Karla, we will never forget,we can only hope, but I fear this cycle of violence will never end...what a sad world we live in...if only more people would take up the pen instead of the sword.
An old AA saying fits well... "We never want to dwell, or live in the past, but most certainly, we don't want to forget it." excellent write... I do pray we never see anything like that again and I also pray that others will never see it again either...

Don't believe them. It WILL happen again unless we are steadfast on the trail of every terrorist, despot, et al, in this world. I am so afraid of who will occupy the White House after this term is up. While I have a lot of problems with President Bush, mostly about securing our borders, I know that he was the right person in the White House when this war was started.
Very well done Karla! I don't think too many forget, it's more like putting it on a back burner because the horror can't be lived daily, or we'd all be insane. However, we should always be aware that it can, and most probably will happen again in one way or another. God help us! Excellent reiminder!
