Poem Artwork

You've imprinted yourself
on my memory,
because what you've written,
I've already lived.
And if I haven't lived
it, I will, because
there is a common bond
that you and I share,
a fibrous ligament
reaching 'cross the page:
we're Siamese twins,
connected at the pen.

(c) 2005, Karla Dorman.
