The moon, being feminine, does nurture us and brings us to our dreams. My favorite "moon time" is the nights of Indian Summer. Beautiful peice that stills and comforts, Karla!

I love to sit at night in the Springtime when the air warms and watch the moon and stars. I've only tried to count the stars my whole life through, but then, even as a child I knew it was impossible, yet I continued to try.
The beauty of nature holds us hostage, and we enjoy every moment of it.

Karla, as I get older, this "moon" thing becomes a whole new meaning to me. A woman's menstrual cycle is in accordance with the moon cycle, which is why the native american calls that time of the month for a woman her "moon". When I read your poem, it becomes more than a physical meaning. More like a metaphysical meaning. Very healing for me.... thank you.... for sharing....
