Ah yes - the distinctive vociferous cry of the North American Plover.

Reminds me of the noisy Canadian Honkers as they fly over sharing with those below those mysteries that only they know!

This is SO lovely as well as image-making, Karla!
Tree frogs also signal storms coming. There must be a
million in the swamps around my house, and when a storm
approaches, the cacophony is deafening!

You did this one with the Poe mindset and you did it quite well. Nothing scares us more than storms, except maybe the click of a switchblade in a dark alley. LOL
