I hope your Independence Day is going better than Karen's and mine is.
Stressed out to the gills, panicking over money that isn't there. I'm looking for work; it's hard to find employment; it isn't there. My words disappear; sadness reigns; happiness, gone; it isn't there. Rain cancels the show; fireworks, duds, just like my life: it isn't there. Keep me in your prayers... it's hard to find your faith when it isn't there.
I am praying for us, too, nice to know others care. God will get us through this valley of despair; He always has! Keep the faith; I will try to do the same!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin sister, Karen Lynn. :)
Karla (& Karen), I believe in you! I so understand where you are coming from re: the stress over money, lack of work and fading faith. I've been practicing looking for all kinds of opportunity and living as much as I am able to in gratitude and it does help me feel more centered and safe - even when the frustrations about bills, etc. are still there. Keep writing it. My prayers are with you. Dawn
You are both in my thoughts and prayers Karla, I am working on getting Karen reinstated here, but this has not been the best few days for me either, thankfully my niece is okay, and is up here with us though...
God Bless
Michelle!
Sounds like one potatoe in the bin time. Been there. I remember one paricular time when there was very little food and I had sold all my furniture to pay bills~~my little boy came running into the house saying, "Mommy, look what I found on the ground!" It was a one-hundred dollar bill~~and it went for groceries. God takes care of His own. You'll pull through this, Karla. I'll be prayin'. Hugs, Lin

I'm not going to tell you not to worry and that everything is going to be all right, because how the hell would I know that. I WILL tell you that the world is not falling apart, it only seems like it is, and perseverence will ultimately win out. I wish I could help. God bless you and Karen.

Do not fret. God has his purpose for you. In fact it is nearer than you realise.

So painful to read this, Dear Karla. I pray that this storm will soon pass, leaving a bright and colourful rainbow for you in its wake.
I hope you feel better now that you shared it. So many of us are struggling right now Karla! We know that these are the times we need to show our faith more than ever, but it's very hard to do. However God never said it would be easy, and both you and Karen have come through a lot. The most important person right now to help you is Creator! Please keep that faith so He can help you! Tell Karen she could be posting today.
Life is there, Karla, for you and for Karen, at the moment it might seem very slow and not all that desirable, but it will get better, we'll keep you both in our hearts and prayers. Just don't give up, keep your faith, good luck might be waiting just around the corner!
Lots of Love and many hugs to you, B&R
I am sorry that you both are struggling at the moment, but don't give up, there is something out there for you. You are a Veteran, have you called them to see if there is anybody who only hires Vets to do their work? I have a patient who makes mobiles...he sells thousands and thousands of them because he only hires disabled Veterans. Websites are clammoring to sell his stuff. They use origami and ribbon to make most of the mobiles..they are beautiful and they dance so gently on any movement in the room. I know that Mitch can't be the only person out there doing this. I hope you both find work soon. I will continue to keep "my twin friends" in my prayers.
Take care,
Sherry
It's there Honey. Sometimes it takes a little longer but believing in yourself and God gets us through to what He has for us to do. I've been there too. I'm extremely happy with the wait and it was worth it.
It's there Karla. You're a fighter with a good soul...Believe in yourself, don't give up and with a little help from the guy upstairs good things will happen...
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
