I'm running out of words.....

Poem Artwork

... i wanted to write
a poem, but due to lack
of anything to

write about, it has
been cancelled. writer's block has
me in its clutches,

so why even try?
green eyed monsters of envy
rear their ugly heads,

telling me i can't
write:  and so, a break from me
for the time being.

(c) 2007, Karla Dorman.  (3/20)

your audiance says differently Karla; take a break; your muse will fly again. Review those pictures you've been taking...you have alot to say.

It is spring...take a look outside and marvel at the detail of a newly born leaf, or a bright yellow dandelion or watch the sunrise and breathe in the sweet morning air...when I feel at a loss for words, nature always comes to the rescue. Love the picture, Karla.
Take care,
Sherry

If you know of a very little window somewhere, tell me what you can see from there.
No author's block here girl!
Tell me what you see!

You sure write fine poetry, even with writer's block, Karla ... when my muse takes a break, my writing is totally unintelligible and reads like a series of online burps. Take a well-deserved rest, hon -- your muse will find you again.
Love,
CJ

A powerful sentiment Karla! Lack of time for composing a few verses is sad. However, this poem shows your ability to write even when you cannot think of anything. Keep writing and inspiring. We are thirsty for your words.

Thanks

Oh no, the dreaded writer's block. Sometimes, what works for me is a painting, or music. Ah, but other times I could look at all of those things, and get nothing. LOL! Thanks for stopping by.
Peace, love & blessings. :o)
