... something strange: I looked out of the window and the rain was falling ... up. Was it the wind pulling it toward the sky, or God trying to get my attention? Was it a funnel nearby, or was it a miracle made just for me? Just then, the sun burst through the clouds and the storm that had buried me in deep depression was gone, and a rainbow appeared; so have my words: Spring, the season for poets.
There is always sunshine after rain and a rainbow on the horizon to lift your spirits, especially when Spring is in the offing. God is good and life is wonderful. Lots of love, Verica

Yes Karla,
There is indeed wonders and magic all around us. We only have to open and eyes and heart to it. And you know, sometimes the magic was WITHIN us, all the time. That magic can be reflected on the world, if we just allow it to be so. Maybe the things you saw was just such a relection. A little bit of Karla's magic shed on the world.
The poet are a lite piece of rainbow herself, she doesn't know because she's too near, by for those far away the sight of the sharp colors of her words is like seeing a rainbow after a rain of tears.

Well done and glad to see you are back, I think to be a poet is to sometimes run the full spectrum of life's emotions from elation to depression, the trick is to find a balance which is never easy.

I have read several of your poems and gurl your poetical skills are off the chain! Your works come under all five of my peas for good poetry writing.
