The nightrain falls in a flood of tears down the face of the window. Comes the dawn, it wipes its eyes and puts on a smile, as if nothing ever happened, carrying forth. I know how it feels, because I do my best crying in the darkness of the night.

Karla,
I see the tears of the nighttrain and feel the wheels heading down the track. Haven't we all covered our feelings in others' presence covering our tears.
Powerful drama wrapped in a package that is open and honest. A line of an old favorite song of mine from the sixties comes to mind with this write...
"Don't let the sun, catch you crying..."
Man shouldn't be ashamed to be seen crying, it shows that he or she still have a shred of humanity on this dehumanized world.
Please, use my soul as your hanky.

"Nightrain" just flows richly in imagery and symbolism. Enjoyed it.
I salute You, Poet.
