A book title inspired this one. :)

Poem Artwork

instead of painting
pictures on a canvas, i
unveil scenery

before you with words:
i pull you into my world
and let you see.  call

me picture maker.
i take photographs with nouns
and sprinkle them

with action verbs; who
needs a camera when a
pen will do just fine?

(c) 2007, Karla Dorman.  (5/16)

Your words make pictures plenty, the ability to illustrate them with your own work of art not only enhances the whole but the author as well.

So true, Karla. Who needs a camera when you have your gifted pen? You paint a vivid picture of words that captures a reader; that is good writing, and writing is one thing you do extremely well. You have a God-given gift. Use it. Don't ever lose it! The world would be a much sadder place without your words!

Very well done; brava, Karla!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin sis, Karen Lynn. :D
