"Nineteen Fifty Nine" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They were there, hidden below the surface, waiting for the signal to come forth. Only took forty two years. It was on a dark day in September, six years ago, when they heard the call. They emerged like cicadas, filling the Den with their sorrow. As they matured, they multiplied into numbers approaching the year of my birth: nineteen fifty nine. They show no signs of slowing, these words I write.
Keep letting them words flow my friend, you've touched many lives with your powerful writes. I was only a few years behind you, 1963...those cicadas are amazing, but noisy! They make one realize just how swift that time passes, it don't seem like it's been that long that their buzzing or chattering could be heard...A wonderful and clever write, poured out from the heart and soul of a true poet!
