I would guess that Texas is about as changeable as Kansas, just further south. We got our first blast of fall chill about Sept. 10, right when people were going to the state fair in the heat just to run somewhere for hats or sweatshirts or jackets later in the day. That's why the strong live here. The weak ones either left or died. Don't steal that line. It's in a story I'm writing...Jerry

One never knows when the end will come, the word says that when we least expect Him to return...just as in the days of Noah! I for one, just want to be ready no matter when He decides enough is enough and He comes to take His children home. For now while we are here...I guess we'll just have to take one day at a time...Texas has had more than their share of rain, and Kentucky has only had a small portion...the extreme differences does cause concern, makes one wonder??? Enjoyed the write, I think many are asking the same question, I have been as well!

The seasons are surely amiss, especially here in the Northeast. In Connecticut, we had record highs three days in a row this past Wed, Thurs, Friday, 88, 91, 87, Talk about confusion..The trees have begun to turn their beautiful hues of oranges and reds, and yellows, but we are way behind...I am afraid that mother nature is playing games with us. She is getting us back for all the terrible things we do to our earth.

Our Earth has gone through many, mnay changes over the course of its existence, and just like our spiritual growth changes, so does the place that God provided for us, will go through its changes, until the Day of our Lord, when it will burn with intense heat, then, and a new heaven and new earth will be provided for those chosen, in Paradise!

What seasons?

Well up here in Nova Scotia there was no mistaking it was fall with the winds blowing the leafs, sweaters the order of the day and a call for frost tonight...I think our summer here is over...lol

I feel your pain, Karla. As long as I can recall, people always have said that "this is the craziest year for weather I can recall." I wonder if it all just kind of fades into a blur and we never really remember what came before. I suppose we are best off to deal with the day at hand and not worry if this will be the year of the 100 degree Christmas. I remember those hot Decembers from when I was a child in So. Calif. After a day or so, we couldn't turn on the lights on the Christmas Tree because it was already dry and brittle with needles falling onto the floor. It is a little cloudy here this afternoon, though the morning was sunny and bright. The transitional seasons are always so unpredictable. I am hoping for rain so I don't have to water my garden, ;) always a bonus!...plus it will give me a little extra time to read some wonderful poetry.

Well, I just think that mother nature, being the woman she is, is having a power play, such is her perogative. I rather like guessing anyway and allowing her to have her way. She's a funny woman and perhaps this is to keep all the men in the world, more confused than they already are!

I agree with Bill. You have some intersting styles for your poetry. You're not alone in this strange unpredictable seasonal changes. One just never knows anymore, and Florida is probably worse than most places since autumn isn't as apparent here as in some of the other states.

One only wonders what is going on with the weather; seasons melding into one; crazyness abounds in the meteorological department! Doesn't it say in the Bible that in the End Times the seasons will be hard to tell apart? If someone can answer this, I'd appreciate it!! We have a meteorological nightmare on our hands! HELP!!!! Excellent write; very well done! BRAVA!
