Poem Artwork

Take my hand.  Let me lead you
into the night, the one outside my
door.  The dark less frightening
when you have someone special to
share it with.  Hear stars whisper
poetry into our eyes, a thousand
ancient lines written for those who
choose to see.  Feel black velvet
studded with diamonds wrap itself
around our shoulders and puddle
at our feet ... beauty known only
to those who dance with the moon.

First: the illustration. Tha's the moon, a motociclist or a eighteenwheeler barreling down on me?

Second: the poem. If you keep whispering that way...something is going to happen!

This is an unusual evocative nocturne I think for you! Truely in the spirit of what I've been seeing in the starry skies over my place lately. You are SO tuned in! Besides, I just noticed on the way to your site, just how many titles you've written! Over-whelming
