Enjoy your precious moments. They are few and far between ...

Poem Artwork

Silence:  darkness outside my window,
frozen in place.  Nothing moves except
the stars in the sky:  diamonds on black

velvet.  Seems I have the morning all to
myself.  A lovely beginning to the day...
before the dawn, before I have to share

it with the rest of the world:  for now, it
is mine and mine, alone.  The sun will be
rising soon, will have to give it back, the

night gifted to only a special few:  poets
and those who burn the midnight oil...a
precious moment to call my very own.

Very soft and emotive. Reminds of nights in the desert when the sky was sunning and beer than tv o a movie.

I love the night sky, especially when there are no clouds. Here, in Florida we've have quite a few clouds.
Your romance with the heavens is remarkable.

Simply beautiful, dear Karla. It sure is the best time to contemplate and be somewhere within your own self where He can speak of His love and promises. Can relate a hundred percent. Well done!

LOVE THIS!! Yes, it is worth it's weight in gold, that special time before the rest of the world grabs a hold... Love the notion of having to give the night back, or let it go... beautiful thoughts here, Karla. xx

Perfect Karla! Such moments are taken for granted so often as unimportant or we're too busy to notice, big mistakes.
Best wishes from me. *Glen*

Wonderful write, Karla. Especially it's early morning where you are and late in the evening where I'm at right now. So you'll give up the stillness of the night and hand it over to me. I'll take good care of it :-)

Becca~
