The anniversary of the January 17, 1996 tornado may have something to do with a sleepless night ...

Poem Artwork

The sky seems to awaken
me just a little earlier in the
mornings - or is the internal
clock broken once again?
Don't sleep as good as I
once did.  To have one night
without worries or bills - to
sleep the sleep of my youth -
or is this just a nightmare with
eyes wide open in a scream?

Karla,

Know that God is with you always, and He'll never leave. May He grant you a night of restful sleep; you deserve it! Very well penned, brava! And that pic is rather frightening!! YIKES!! Am not lookin' forward to the springtime.....

I can appreciate what you're going through Karla. Worrying over our problems will tend to do that and it seems the older I get the less sleep I need and the more frequently I wake during the night. Such is life. Naps during the day help though. Well said Karla. God bless you my friend.
