God made the storm. For
a brief moment in
time, I hold lightning
and wind in bare hands.
With the click of a
shutter, I try to
impede its forward
progress, if only
for a second. Must
let go: can't contain
it. Before it leaves,
it gives me a small
portion of its soul
as a souvenir,
as a reminder
of today's visit. .. .

You have LOTS of sourvenirs where you live. (lol) I do love the rain, though. It's so refreshing. Thankfully, we don't have huge downpours, just wish we had more rain. One of these days New Mexico is going to go up in flames.

Those are some souvenirs I could do without--might be a bit painful on the hands if we grabbed some lightning bolts!~ *OW* LOL Still, a wonderful "capture"; very well penned and illustrated! BRAVA!

We got very high winds, and we are surrounded in OLD trees, and we got more rain than we could ever use and if I know you, you sent it up our way...LOL, Ed
