... God spent the morning
furnishing this small corner
of Heaven sunk to Earth -
my room. The ceiling vaults
overhead, a perfect reach
of blue; floor, a lush carpet
of green; walls, a testament
to the glories of Spring. He
thought of everything! Sun,
to warm bones weary of
winter; bluebonnets, to scent
the air; birdsong, to awaken
the morning. Do believe I got
the best room in the house!

Sounds like it, Karla! But I've got little green blades of irises and tulips poking up out of the soil, and I'm excited as can be... And my little seedlings are poking up in tiny sprouts out of their cardboard casings-- cabbage, broccoli and tomatoes... it'll be a good spring afterall-- even if it is mostly in-doors. --Charlie
A beautiful pictures and a sweet poem for this Saturday, Karla. We have an opened hallway that spans from my bedroom across the full length of the upstairs. My favorite thing to do at Christmas is to look down as our Christmas tree, from that hallway. That's the best view. The hallway also has a perfect view through our vaulted living room ceiling's skylights, so when the moon is full, the view is awesome. I'm glad you have a nice view, as well.
