Poem Artwork

The sky, quilted by an
occasional pouf of
cloud here and there.  Light breeze
stirs the air.  Not hot.  Yet.
Screens thrown open to let
Nature's music in with
no manmade distractions
to interrupt the hush
in my part of the world.
Only sound heard is clack
of fingers on keyboard:
a lovely morn to write.

Morning? you said writing in the morning? have you hate for your bed? Girl, the best of life is to sleep late mornings, and to night write until the candle cries uncle!
Try it once and you will be hooked!

I hear the sounds of solitude and gratification. What a wonderful way to express the sound of silence interrupted only by a creative mind tiptoeing across a keyboard. May peace remain with you always. JMW

Isn't it great when the perfect combination of sounds, smells and coffee come together and we can just write from our hearts

Glad the storms are over with, here they are not, it is rainy and dreary today, just sprinkling a little, but not so humid as yesterday. Nothing better than windows open and fresh air blowing in. Keep on typing out these great writes. We appreciate them.
