"Don't Have To Chase ..."
... storms chase me, following me into
my own backyard, searching for the
entryway to the cellar of my fear,
hidden deep within. Telling them to
go away does no good; they'll laugh
in your face with moisture laden
breath and continue to beat at the
door. I stand on the other side,
pushing against the forces wanting
in. They are stronger; feet slipping;
can't hold on much longer. Eyes snap
open like shutters to greet the ... sun?
We had more storms than usual too this year here in Toronto Canada. One minute is bright and sunny, another minutes dark clouds gather and it pours and the wind just blows. You can't rely on the weather report anymore.
Your fear is well expressed in this one. Hope you two are safe. Will pray for you both!

There is a thing about the "cellar of my fear" where all the bad things are contained inside where we may cultivate and celebrate them, much like fine olde wines. And outside is lovely. Love this one, Karla (and the pic, too).
It looked like storms were coming several times today, then at 5 p.m. the sun came out strong. I was glad nothing came of the storms. We had enough of them lately. Really enjoy your weather stories and stormy stories. Hang in there, don't let them frighten you.
Karla, I am grateful we don't live in the storm zone, we get our share but nothing like you, I would rather deal with the Earthquakes LOL, but where we are at thats not much of a problem either...
