... allowing me to gain control of my life. ....

Poem Artwork

... For years, thunder roared, imbuing
nights with terror, crocheting days into
knots of fear so tight I couldn't unravel
one from another.  Black skies snarled
with paleness of cowardice does not a

pretty afghan make.  The chains were
uneven, most showing the reverse of
Nature:  the ugly, phobic side.  Wasn't
until a camera, prayer and the hook of
poetry delivered the beauty in Storm,

allowing me to gain control of my life.
Look close for the purple threads of
lightning; feel the gentle cover of wind
against your body.  Instead of dwindling
away, I now praise Him when it rains!

I love the gentle way you express this, Karla -- life is chaos until we open ourselves to the deep oneness offered. And then, Jesus rocks!!!

Karla~

Now does that mean you want to confront a t o r n a d o?? (I didn't think so! LOL) Still, I've seen a world of difference in your attitude towards Storm, and it's inspiring to see! Wonderful praise-poem to the One who's gifted you with verse and an eye for the camera; very well penned/illustrated! BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D X0X0X0X0X0X0X0
