evil attacks the innocent attempting to inflict the maximum pain and sorrow - the ideology of personal freedoms and a people united in the pursuit of those ideologies will not perish from this planet of ours - too long did the forces of evil, misunderstanding and barbaric

The best thing we can do is stop building walls between us and other nations and people. When we build walls and mass armies and armaments against others, they begin to think we are out to destroy them. If we give them the knowledge to understand what it is to be free, they will not have the desire to destroy anyone because they will see that their freedom depends on everyone. I believe that the World Wide Web is rapidly bringing the people of the world together and before long most of the rationalist ideologies will disappear, including our own.
What an inspirer you are, Karla~!! The clarity and simplicity with which you write -- particularly in this timely plea to honor the lost
by finding ways to make the world better -- creates a background against which your message stands out more than it otherwise would.
Then you choose precisely the right way to illustrate it. The flag
above is deeply affecting because of the ephemeral effect of the
light shining through. To me, it looks fragile. . .like life.

All I know is we Americans have to stick
together for this is our country, home of
the free and the brave!! We all remember
where we were that day and we ALL REMEMBER!!!
