I close my eyes and the day slips away,
I open them again to sunlight.
As the trees begin to softly sway,

The flowers begin to dance and sashay,
And the sun is shining bright.

I go to sit by the waterfall's spray,
Staring in awe at the rainbows sight.

The clouds roll in and the sky turns gray,
The day now turns to night.

My dreams begin and my mind starts to stray.
I open them again to soft moonlight,

I now kneel and start to pray,
And I'm no longer in my plight.
