Poem Artwork

It is so good to get away,
Even if for just a day.
To leave the stress behind,
Forgetting cares.

Go, do something new,
Or to your peaceful place.
Leave it all behind for a day.
Forget about the race.

Return tired with new memories.
The world will still be the same tomorrow,
But you won't.

Returning from Mallorca let me realize that away I was alone, no friends, no stress, no dead lines, no reading or reviewing?
And that is called holydays?
Oh brother! ! !

That picture is glorious and would make a wonderful get-away. Your lovely poem is good advice. We all need to escape the routine occasionally and enjoy other things---especially nature.

For this moment I will seek asylum in a less traveled place. And there escape my realities with the embrace of a new reality. R & R, what a blessing. Just returned from mine. God bless. JMW

A liitle down tonight, by myself, lonely, crying tears from the heart. Wishing hubby Tom was back on earth, but know it is impossible. My faith is wavering, but I can make my own happiness and go to the ocean soon, which I will be doing. Just a down night again for me. Thanks for this encouraging write.

Oh yes, going to your sacred place, be it the beach, mountains, park, woods, wherever you soul gets rejuvenated. I do this often, and it surely is great for your soul
Lovely poem, to remind us all to take care of ourselves. Thanks Walt.

A beautiful write, we do all need to get away for a day...if nothing else just staying home, no phone, no company, just all day to lounge, relax, take a walk, read, write, and enjoy the peace and quiet! Enjoyed this my friend!
Blessings,
Joyce B.
