Walt sometimes I think that is just a myth to soothe the family and friends of those who die young. If it's true then it's just too late for naughty ones like you and me!!

Wonderfully expressed, Walt. After the loss of my son and mother, I've asked the same question. It's not our time yet, Walt ... moving poetry!
I guess it was good jeans. I prefer Levi's. Or could have been all those sample pills or hospital chemicals you breathed. It certainly wasn't bottled water or testosterone enhancers. ;-)
The older we live, the more we beat the odds. My grandfather used to say, “I'm waiting for the good Lord to take me away.” I thought that he was being a bit pessimistic as we fished by the river, his favorite pastime. But now I'm beginning to see what he meant.
