"Euterpe" (pronounced "you-TER-pee")

Euterpe a muse,
daughter of Zeus,
has spoken to me.
Compelling me to write these words,

Music is encircling my mind,
pleasure is entwined,
soothingly blending with lyrics;
Euterpe the muse, is here.

Blindly I go into this world
of ancient muses,
a story of love unfurled,
Euterpe, her Muse's world!

Gently tugging my soul's awakening,
following the earth's quakening,
I am pulled downward toward this crack of darkness,
filled with brilliant specks of lightness.

It is a magical world of muses:
all are urging me downward
toward pleasures unknown,
My mind and body awakens.

Terpsichore (dance) ;
Thalia (comedy)
Urania (astronomy)

Euterpe's music is intoxicating,
urging me to seek her pleasure,
sensual music fills my ears,
and satisfaction fills my body.

Euterpe is a muse,
a giver of pleasure and music,
and daughter to the powerful Zeus,
I shall cherish this view into your chambers.

Carry with me the muse of music and pleasure;
relaying messages that all will treasure.
Knowing that I was among the elite,
these muses from the world beneath!



Author's Notes: I fell asleep from a quick nap this afternoon, and was compelled to write what I dreamt about. I was doing research on Gods and Goddesses and muses last night and earlier today. I believe I connected with the spirit of "Enterpe" !
It was the most sensual dream I have had in a very long time.

May the spirit of your favorite muse, be ever present in your dreams or reality!
