To Know You Is To Love You

by Amber "V" Moonstone 10/06/07

On a dark and cloudy day
Your eyes take that away,
You light up our life with joy
You cute little puppy boy.

You are a chocolate mixed lab
finding you was ever so fab
You came from New Orleans disaster
to become a little master

Of our universe here at the shore
you are one little dog we adore.
Orlando you are a prize
much to our delightful surprise

You guard the house with care
No one would even dare
to enter without an invite
we know you have no fright

Only the strongest survive
and here in Connecticut you thrive.
You are so lucky to have gotten through
"To Know You Is To Love You"

author's notes: My daughter Vanessa, adopted a lab from New Orleans, from the labs for rescue foundation. He is a shining star in our life.
Save a pet, save the earth, save your life.
Peace, Love, and Light,
Amber "V"

Bless you and your family for taking this wonderful orphan in, and may he bring you joy and love for a very long time. And my three New Orleans orphans say, "Howdy, Orlando; so very glad you made it, too!"
