Full Moon In Pisces, August 24, 2010

Awoken to the light of this full moon,
I was dreaming of a fantasy land
filled with mystical wonders.
My mind was asleep.

My soul was ascended into
an experience of enormous proportions.
I was standing on a mountain top,
overlooking a village in Tuscany, Italy.

It was a familiar sighting,
a place that I had visited
during my last holiday in Italy.
I was free falling when I awoke.

Somehow I knew that my soul
had traveled there during my sleep.
I could smell the essence of the air
and visually I could see it in my minds eye.

I was calling out to the Universe
to allow me freedom of flight
like an eagle's swooping
I was released into mid air.

I was looking down at myself
standing on that mountain top.
I looked so happy and filled with joy.
It made me cry!

I was crying as I woke up,
but did not feel sad.
I felt elated
and joyful.

I peered at the moon,
it was shrouded in wispy clouds,
but somehow I knew the power
of it's pull, allowed this dream to surface.

I sincerely felt the connection to the divine,
and deeply within it filled me with a joy
that I have not experienced in some time.
I knelt down beneath this magnificent orb

thanked the Universe for my life,
and prayed to be granted
a continuation of my blessings
and the powers to continue to be a healer.

As I recited my mantra,
I could feel the spiritual connection
to my higher power,
I knew that the Universe was listening!
