Starry Nights

Starry nights bring me back to you,
Remarkably soothing is the midnight sky
with sprinkles of shiny starlight
cascading along the horizon of our dreams.

Walking beneath the full moon,
with the stars boldly shining,
reveals the magnetic power
your voice has on me.

Just a hum of your golden throat
sends shivers up my spine,
taking me into moonlight magic
and a ride upon a twinkling star.

You transport me with your poetic charm,
into a dream world of two souls,
traveling along the highway of life,
trying to make sense of it all.

One day these two souls will unite,
the heavens will open it's doors,
the angels will rejoice,
and the starry nights will be illuminated.
