Laughter eluding hearts void of love Blindness overcomes the spirit cold Time becomes the enemy Sleep the escape Fear illuminating doubts of self worth Confirmation of a decadent soul Pity becomes the comforter Denial the charade Love that brought joy in its arrival Delivering despair in its flight Tomorrow�s realities await Shaped by aspiration Or its absence copyright � Michael R.
