I don’t think that I can see us through
I don’t know there’s us in me an you
Ever since you are gone
There’s only this sad and lonely song
If love could have a chance to heal our hearts
If love could find a place for us to start
Once more to hold you near
Erasing the wasted heartbreak years
Don’t know how I’ve last all this long
Can’t seem to function since you’re gone
And these tears just endlessly go on
Without you there’s no where I belong
Can I ever learn to just move on?
Reconcile the love with what went wrong?
Maybe then I would find
The strength just purge you from my mind
Once upon a time I found my heart
Now I know we'll always be a apart
And in the aftermath of pain
Maybe I can learn to love again
I don’t think that I can see us through

Love this one. It is a fearful yet strong moment when we realize that as much as we love someone it is time to let them go. Very sad.
I truly felt every word! There will always be WHYS giving us no peace of mind. When you gave and gave until there was nothing left to give, they took their sated self, moving on leaving a empty shell that once was you. That's the glory of love. SC
