Lyrical love poems I have read Love so wonderful, the very best Two lonely people meeting and becoming one Lyrical love poems written by new lovers Those of us who been there and lived to tell the tale Know that these sugary confections are too delicate Too fragile to go the distance Very few of these �matches made in heaven� last Expectations are so high they will never be met. And there in lies the problem between two who have become one Communication between the couple will increase their chances of making it last But as actual life begins, time to talk becomes the first to go. Lyrical love poems need to suggest that communication is the key. Love is wonderful if the two can communicate Love will last even past the giddy stage, when communication is not lost.

Really? Ann...no relationship could ever last without communication...sugary or not. But that does not and should not deter one from risking their hearts when love is there...it is an individual choice and I for one would rather love than never know love. Good work.

Ann I must agree with you, communication is the foundation of all lasting relationships, that said I must say that lyrical, delicate love poetry is the reflection of the most beautiful feelings between lovers and there is no reason that can't go the distance, if communication continues. Just because the feelings are passionate and lyrical doesn't mean expectations are too high to be met and the relationship is doomed to failure. I think the world would be a very bleak place without such "confections".
