"...Sometimes,if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known..."
---Pooh's Little Instruction Book,inspired by A.A. Milne---
I wished for you, silent sentinel of the gap...
No hate, but quiet above the flowing river
to stand playfully on Free childish imagination
With no care for the world above Bridge so visible
Now trembling with the weight of its age
Where once laughter and play
Now mournfulness and beyond
Now I lately learned dying
The alienation of a few things
Flowing waters below breath-taking skies
Replaced by the upkeep to downfall
Generations left and have gone
Just go on...brave one
No one to point the way
Through the dense overgrowth of indifference, clues
You have done much remembered bridge
work no more, rest in innocent gain.

Reviews of "...Tribute to The Bridge: Wooden Hawaiian Memoirs..."
This is not a drill. The attack on Pearl. They were the ghost planes of the night, deadly, illusive, sharp-clawed Black Cats. The Memoirs of ARM H.P. Lawrence, a Pearl Harbor survivor, Black Cat, and decorated war veteran.
TRUE STORY. Bella survived an abusive powerbroker father with organized crime ties, a drug-addicted mother and a physically/sexually abusive brother. Shocking & inspirational. When she couldn't cry, she tattooed a crying angel to cry for her.
poignant read
Myles, and is filled with tenderness and understanding.
John
The last line is wonderful.
Peace be with you Myles,
