Poem Artwork

Toss in your troubles

If you have a problem you need to release,
Go to the lake and toss it in,
I will help you, if you please.

I will be anchored among the rocks,
Cast you some sunshine to brighten your day,
Reel in your worries among your walks.

I will hook each and every one,
They are all keepers, None too big or small,
There are no limits, Could be a ton.

Each one I will carefully weigh,
Filet and dissect, Salvaging the good,
Scraps left for Eagles to take away.

There is a bright side for all to be had,
Lets focus on just that,
Don't want anyone to be sad.

Just remember, down by the lake,
My line is always open,
For you to take.

"Toss in your Troubles" perseverance, cooperative attitude and friendship, and it does it in a clear voice of poetic excellence.

I think it's an awfully good idea to throw away what we don't need (stuff that's bogging us down).
Your metaphor was AWESOME!
