“Blacklisted” – there it was in black and white on a bounce-back message. Not from a lover done wrong, but from community of faith body of Christ family of God that chased me away, away long ago, into no.
Zapped instantly, I am reeling from the shock, melting, coming undone all over again, sinking into inky abyss where all is nothing and I am one with all, never, nada, not, no.
While I haven't exactly "been there" I sometimes feel as if I have... I know where you're coming from with this... it's just hard to think through religious things on my own, if you know what I mean... great writing... I love the form :)
Dawn, fact or fiction, this write commands the attention of all...all who profess and all who do not. An excellent jump into the reality of spirituality. Though there are many ideas on opinions on the hypocrisy of our times, we must all work out our own salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord...I too know the feeling that you speak of here, and I found it to be prevalent with a good many. I hope that be it fact or fiction, that the person in this piece can find the peace of the Lord again.

i too, wonder if this is fact or fiction but i went thru much the same thing as this poem seems to depict when i was 15 and pregnant and i have never forgotten the feeling

Its a stark ,powerful poem.I just want to
remind you that Jesus said"Do not put your
trust in man or princes" I say care not what
religious organizations say or do,they have
nothing to do with God. They only think they do!
I don't like those people who are Christians, and they act all holier than thou; those are the people that drive me insane! I may be a Christian, but I would never condemn you; "thou shall not judge lest ye be judged," it says clearly in the Bible. It is something I am learning to overcome myself, and I still wrestle with this every day! I am sorry this has happened! Painful, dark, angry write; well stated!
