Last night I stood staring  out to sea,


And felt a strange loneliness come upon me


Thoughts of you came flashing through my mind......


Thoughts that were causing me to be blind.


           


Questions flowed through me in abundance....


Am I lost in this Sea of Existence?


Would I find my way back when you are gone?


Would I still look forward to each new dawn?


 


Who am I? What am I doing?


Who, but myself, am I fooling?


Am I trying to open a sealed door?


Oh! I know not myself anymore!


 


I've never felt so very unsure,


I've never needed anyone more.


Now, for reasons I cannot tell,


You've got me under your spell!
