the reason why fire entrances has to do with its flicker the pulse and spark entrains the mind, behind the eyes, and to the senses mesmerizing at the atomic level luminescence and significant phase locking relaxation and creativity calming and soothing the busy ness of every say natures meditative stillness invokes outside the snowflakes fall icicles drip from the eves and wordless silence tugs deep recesses our minds squirm to fill the voids of thought emptiness we see the grey winter chills and surrender into the flicker to toss another log on the fire
