heavy are the footsteps upon the floor

creaking floor
he's coming...child pleading no more
mommy's feigning sleep
desperation is getting deep
squeaking of the old door
heavy are the footsteps upon the floor
my heart begins pounding
his heavy breathing the only sound
smell of sour beer fills the air
my dreams he has made nightmares
my small body frozen and locked in fear
when he whispers princess in my ear
his hands hurting and always rough
he never seems to kill me enough
my crying he never hears
darkness comes..dread quickly turning to fear
night after night is always the same
daddy calls it "our" little game
during the day I will not look him in the eye
everyday i feel closer to dying
he acts like this is all in my head
does he really forget what he does in my bed?
wrote an essay about my "nightmares"
teacher gave it back.. no questions..no one cares
i feel all the shame of his actions so much
help me...save me..he is killing me with his touch

this piece is almost too painful to read. and i don't know how to comment on it, except to say that i am so sorry that you experienced this kind of trauma, and i hope that the knowledge that others care will ease your mind a little.
Some fathers are like animals. They do not fit to be fathers.
Last night I've watched "Nanny 911", it is the best show I've ever seen. The couple have adopted two twin girls. They are so good to the children who have gone wild, the Dad was concerned so he had dialed "Nanny 911" for help, and I'm so glad he did.
The have finally broken the walls between themselves and the children, and they now can finally sit down and play with the children. The two twin girls was re-assured the love that is stored for them.
I like how the mother told the adopted child when asked by the child where did she come from. The mother answered, "You've come from my heart." I think that was a beautiful answer. When re-assured of the love she has for the girl, the girl finally broke down and cried and hug the mother. It was a wonderful show.
There are several nannies in this show "Nanny 911", unfortunately, next show will not be the same nanny. I think last night's nanny was the best. She knew where the problem lies in the family and was able to make everything better. I was so moved by last night's show I sat there and cried.
Then after that "Hell's Kitchen" came on, and I felt sad for Elsie, who had to leave the show because all her competitors were jealous of her success. Some people are so wicked I can't believe what I saw happening right on the TV. They were supposed to be working as a team in the kitchen, but all of them ignored her, no one said a word to her last night, no help came to her. As a result she was bumped out of the show. Sad indeed!
Two good shows on every Monday night, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

This kind of moralistic treachery happens so much more than I ever thought that it could . . . or would. Sometimes I have some of the very same feelings about the male sex that a lot of women do. Yes, we are evil, but as in anything else, not all of us are. Men do not hold onto the title of evilness alone, women can be just as bad. Not trying to make excuses for pedophiles because to me they are the lowest common demoniator. They deserve a life sentence withough parole, plus castration for the first offense. There will be no second offense.
Robin you have presented this with chilling effectiveness.
It has always been a mystery to me how a father could do this
to a daughter. So hard for me to fathom what gets into a mans
psyche to do such things. I wonder why more isn't done to deal
with this abuse that continues to horrify and ruin so many
childrens lives. It is a disgrace in an enlightened society
that it continues to happen, and even more so than ever before.
A blight on our society!
But Angels like you Robin do help many
of these hurting girls.

EPIDEMIC MALADY can't be eradicated.
Been there, done that. Still in therapy and if it weren't for a strong Faith in God and decent meds, I'd have been dead a long time ago.
I used to wonder how long he would get away with it. The thing that I never knew was 'God sees everything' and he didn't get away with anything at all.
He died in his apt. alone, was there 6 days before being discovered. I have to tell myself that he was mentally ill or I'd go crazy. Love & Peace my dear friend.
Such an awful dispicable act. You have poured out your soul and your pleas for help here. Don't give up, tell everyone until someone listens. I hope you find solace in writing poetry
