Been a while since I have been able to get back and post anything, but I think for the next couple weeks, I will be able to pop in almost daily....surprise!
So, now that I am here, what am I going to do to entertain myself?????

A small single rose adorns my bedside pillow
As I walk into the room after a tired day
Of chasing business meetings and
Petty little people who cannot
Seem to get along without
Shredding each other
To tiny fragments
With words.
I smile, for only I know who has left this
Wonderful memento of times spent
Together on previous trips to
This bustling metropolis
And I know, deep in
My heart, that this
Evening will be
Like no other.
As I stand staring at the silky bud, a wee
Sound signals I am no longer alone
And I turn, stepping into a set of
Warm loving arms that spread
And welcome me like no
Others every have and
I know I am once
Again home.
I relax, allowing my tense shoulders to
Droop and sag happily into the
Comfort of it, before gazing
Upward into the face of
The man I have known
And loved since time
Awakened and the
World began.
