My niece started a new dialog, a new chapter. What a blessing.

For Melissa The day our amazing mother died, The family chain broke with grief. The golden clasp that held us Was lost, cut off, too soon, too brief. Our family chain was left to tangle, Knotted, twisted, and hidden away. Each of us turning, looping in memories, Isolated, silent grief marked each day. Beautiful babies blessed new parents, New memories clamored to be shared. Across the generations, a voice reached out The chain, still golden, unknotted, We are linked again: repaired.
