To know someone loves you and they don't have to because they're not related to you...is Wonderful

The Power of Friendship

Friendship is so powerful, precious and rare.

For with your friends your hearts are laid bare.

They know you from the depth of your soul.

But love you anyway, which makes you whole.

You can tell a friend everything and they will not judge.

If you go in the wrong direction, they will give you a nudge.

They know your heart which gives them tremendous power.

And your eternal love for them grows like a precious flower.

Sure they can also hurt you because they know your heart.

But the trust that’s built between you is the most valuable part.

To have someone you can go to that will never condemn in anyway.

Is a precious gift to have and hold, when you have a dreadful day.

And if you find that kind of friendship never let it go.

For you are blessed in everyway, more than you’ll ever know.

Written from one whom has many friends!
A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart
And sings it back to you--when you have forgotten the words!

In life we have many friends...they come and go...like the seasons...so I chose early in life "to be friendly" and not make "friends"...it was just too painful...so my hubby and I were best friends thru everything...then...when you lose that lover/friend/trust, you find yourself standing around many "friendly" acquaintances.. and that can surely leave you empty...so..in AD I too have found many friendships, such as yours...that I treasure...we need friends in life...and I am so thankful to have you. hugs, lindalaw

"Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful are the kisses of an enemy."

Elvis and Michael Jackson needed a friend to correct them, but none was able to do so. I have a friend like that, that always jumps on me when I need it the most. He never fails to criticize and cuts me no slack, but he kicks my backside in love. I become a sharper person as a result. After knowing him for twenty years, the rest of you are a piece of cake.

I like how you were able to string together such long sentences here and make them rhyme so well together. I have trouble balancingout my verse like you do, especially long ones like yours. How do you do it?

TRUE friends are hard to find ... my best friend and I had a bit of a falling out yesterday. Hopefully, we'll resolve it soon. :( An excellent write, Bonnie, lovingly penned and illustrated.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
