I heard your voice today ... like a whisper from the past. Together oneday you say but Forever is lost. And all because i loved you..too much..i can not go back down that way. But it was nice to hear your voice again as i fought back the tears of anger, hurt and pain. And most of all regret, for you're one heart i will never forget.

Poem Artwork

COME FIND ME……

Prince Charming!

Come find me…

You’re so disarming!

I think im ready ..and willing

Now

Been up and down

The Yellow Brick Road

Been to John O’groats

And Timbuctoo

Searching for you

Now

There’s nothing left

For me to Do

But sit and Wait

By the Iron gate

For the keeper

To fall asleep

So I can set myself free

Because

Prince Charming

You’re not coming

To rescue me

Not Now

Like Sleeping Beauty

I fell asleep

For what seems like

A Century

I awoke to find

You’re not lying

Next to me

Where did you Go?

Did you even exist

Did I dream

That night we kissed

How could you forget

This princess?

Am I not missed

Now

It’s been so long

I’ve replayed this song

And I’m wondering

If you are ever gonna

Forget

The promise

You made to me

Together forever

I guess in reality

Theres just love

And hate

And the void between

You’re not my Prince

Charming

And I’m not your

Dream Queen

And yesterday

Was just a place

We had both been

Today is just

Another day

And tomorrow

Doesn’t matter

Anymore.

The gate keeper has left

Me the spare key

I had it all along

But I was just tied

To the memory

Of our song

And sorry doesn’t

Seem to matter

Anymore

The hardest word

Seems to be

Goodbye

Ive repeated it a thousand times

But it still gets me tongue tied

Baby.

You kissed me with

Sweet poisoned lips

And I died Like Juliet

But without Romeo

By my side

Like Alice In Wonderland

My life is backwards

I keep looking forward

But I get trapped

In the mirror

I never grow old

I just get big and small

The men they are all

Seem so tall

It’s like a Madhatters

Ball

Except no one is drinking

Tea

Just champagne

All the players grew up

Left Alice behind

But she’s gonna fly

On an albatross

Make up for lost time

She’s

Far too sentimental

Like a lost child.

Dedicated to Prince Ron.

Who couldn’t rescue anyone or the boat would sink.
