A poem to greet a new day.

Paint a Picture
 
Eastern orb of fire rises
To start the new day.
Beautiful sunrise before me
Glistens in glorious gold.
Birds twitter good morning.
Breezes brush away the night.
Honeysuckle flavors the air.
 
All is right with the world.
Yesterday is but a memory.
Today is just beginning.
It’s never been lived before.
Peace fills my heart.
Love guides my feet.
I am where I need to be.
