Anonymous faces Stare at me Then go home To their TV This cold bench Is where I stay Wonder if I'm In the way Hunger ravaging Deep in my gut Infection in A ragged cut Only coldness All around Lonely makes The loudest sound ********************* Anonymous faces Rush on by Not seeing the Tears I cry The pain of living Is too much I ache for one Tender touch Every day is Always the same Playing the Survival game Walking these old Streets alone Hope and happiness Are long gone ********************* Anonymous faces They don't care Smell of chicken In the air The world is swiftly Moving on I'm standing still Existing alone No bed to sleep in But a cold ground Nothing to eat But some scraps I found I don't own much Just the clothes on my back A lifetime of living In a paper sack (C) Linda Hill REPOST

Linda this is a fantastic perspective for the homeless. You know Americans spend more money on their pet's than they do on the homeless. Your words are a great reminder to all of us people that call themselves Christians but forget easily on how to play the part. Thank you for this great repost. Tim

So heart breaking Linda as we realize thre are so many out there homeless and can't help it, shame on those who are out there because they didn't like the rules at home. Thank you for sharing.

The stark reality of the homeless is captured so vividly in this write that if it were sent to each one of our politicians I think it may just make a difference in the laws they pass or fail to pass to help these people. Thank you for bringing things into perspective with this strong voice Linda...
