Daddy , You Are With Me!

Daddy, I wish you had'nt had to go- But there's something I want you to know. You gave me the best two weeks I've ever had- So Daddy , please smile..don't be sad. We had such fun - we laughed and played- Even thou you left Daddy, your spirit stayed. You are in the gentle wind that blows thru my hair- When I see the sun shining , Daddy I feel you there. You will never leave me Daddy, please understand- You're the gentle spirit that always holds my hand. We may be 400 miles apart, but you are still here- I can still feel you , Daddy, you will always be near. When I feel the rain fall softly from the sky- You are holding me Daddy- keeping me dry! If I get sad or a dark cloud moves my way- You are close beside me to chase them away. I am only three...theres so much i want to do- I'm trying to let you know Daddy, that I LOVE YOU! Linda. Great write that probes the feelings of so many young people when homes are torn apart. I remember this emotion so well.
