Prison Without Bars

Poem Artwork

No light in this tunnel of
Dark despair
Only sadness of knowing
No one is there
Heartache and pain
That won't go away
Depression sits in for
Another day

In my prison without bars....

Silence deafening within
These four walls
Unbearable pain as each
Teardrop falls
How could I believe that
He wanted me
Some things are just not
Meant to be

In my prison without bars....

Wonderful Write Linda M Hill,
I dont know you wrote this with Headache or pain. Still if this write is not a fiction then let me tell u ... never be sad or never be worried. You keep smiling all day and all nite. Think of the lovely height you can reach and what you always dreamt for ...
Wish you always keep smiling and wish u always have wonderful days.

God Bless you Linda

Linda, I like the style and structure of this. At least, in this type of prison, we do have the power to eventually free ourselves. ~Joseph
