Shadows linger in the
Corner of the room
He sits just knowing
He's met his doom
Tomorrow at seven
He takes his last walk
The fear in his gut
Makes it hard to talk
The bars are so cold
As he touches the steel
No one on earth knows
How he feels
His hours are numbered
They are slipping away
What he would give
For just one more day
Darkness prevails
Taking over his soul
His body is numb
His heart is cold
