Haven't you hurt me enough

To beat me this way
Your anger overwhelmes you

Wow this is difficult to read.
It is so sad to know that absolute hell is just the normal routine for some people.
This poem is telling it like it is, but whoever would strike a spouse is probably beyond reason.
What a precious heart you have Linda.

Oh!! Linda...you hit home with this one...ben there...know the feeling...the scars are so deep within...they are much bigger that the one that meets the eye!!
Oh Linda...This one really touched a nerve and spoke to my heart. Your last line was the clincher...and the most true line of all. Excellent poem...I recommend sending it in to a contest. A hands-down winner.
